“Yonex Latvia International 2021” has been postponed to August 26-29. Similarly, the Latvian tournament in 2020 was postponed due to Covid-19 from the beginning of June to the end of August. For two years in a row, the Latvian tournament cannot take place on time duče to Covid-19.

Minions Pull Out After Sukamuljo Tests Positive
World No.1 pair Marcus Fernaldi Gideon and Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo pulled out of the Asian Leg of the HSBC BWF World Tour after Sukamuljo tested positive for Covid-19. No positive tests have been recorded so far for players who were tested on arrival and who are currently in quarantine.
Team Japan withdraws – Momota tests positive for COVID-19

Badminton Europe will release the BEC Golden Shuttle
Badminton Europe will soon release the first series of the BEC Golden Shuttle, where Europe’s top players are put to the test to see how much they actually know about badminton. The first episode will be aired on 6 January 2021.

TV 2 Sport and Badminton Denmark extend agreement
Until 2025, Danish badminton fans can follow on TV 2 Sport and TV 2 Play, when, for example, Viktor Axelsen, Anders Antonsen and Mia Blichfeldt turn out with the national Flag of Denmark on their chest. This is clear after TV 2 Sport and Badminton Denmark have extended their agreement.
